If Summer and Resort seasons were engaged... What are the chances of a divorce?

While the merger of fancy palm prints, relaxed creases, and textured layering are no lightweight, it's time we ditch the Hawaiian prints and maxi skirts at the beach and toughen up in industrial glamour.

To Toucan or not Toucan?
While a knotted bustier has successfully disguised my pictorial flight as a tropical bird, I broke out a olive neoprene (with extra perspiration) to address a clean cut transformation into a Amazonian warrior princess.

So am I a royal bird, yet?

Since I've been working with mostly athletic cotton basics, I've worked out a formula of next-level normcore--from slits to draw string pants. Don't expect any Dos and Don'ts, I'm just acting out the rules of Feminism. Somewhere across my living space, I can almost feel my mother, the Wardrobe Nazi whose echoes will never concur. "Because Fashion" does not work either. She's more cutthroat than a certain Miss Wintour and her comments will cause bloodshed in your ears. She remarked, "You looked ruined with those eyebrows." "But I championed those sideburns, mom. Hail Lara." I have a point, don't I?

In a lucky strike, I managed to escape unscathed from my mother aka fashion police on double duty who, for once agreed on my almost neon number. I creeped out in tomato red LRD, the power color to work with this season and one of the primary colours Tibi has decided to command into their resort collection. Red really is a love spell.

If resort wear is just as idiosyncratic as it is versatile, with the longest rack span of more than four months, how can you not get confused in the mix trying to avoid looking cliché? The irony of stereotypical prints. Go figure. Or should I start a focus group in true Jessa fashion--shaggy kimono attached with an alcohol-marinated fedora feeding life's philosophies through tobacco huff'n'puffs?
