SEOUL: FROM SPRING AVE, TURN RIGHT TO DENIM ZONE, YOU HAVE ARRIVED

| Travel |
It was Spring at about 11 degrees in the cherry blossom tunnel. With a good streak of YOLOs and an added incentive of being freshly popped 25, I decided to make thigh popsicles. Why, Rachel? Why? For no good reason--or because fashion? In the spirit of denim, in true @badgalriri fashion.

While parkas and puff jackets were still ablaze on the streets, I'd layer in progressive denim because transitional season leftover mood swings are meant for year-round classics . #keepingitcasualandprotected, yes?

The trip to the cherry blossom tunnel at Yeouido Park was a complete switch from the itinerary since the supposed Spring weather in Seoul was particularly chilly with plenty chances of rain harvesting, thus, a trusty hat on. The park was serene with moments of bliss--couples celebrating their 100th day cycling through little pink domes, neighbours jogging in exchange for floral scented lungs, and yuppies strolling in and out of the park carrying the prized Honey Butter Chips back home (seriously, how did they get their hands on 'em?). Obviously, I was encouraged to continue braving the leisurely path by the flower power vested in me, allowing my thighs to be one with nature.

If the blooming tunnel is too predictable a location for Chanel Spring (alas, Chanel has decided to do Resort instead), the Chanel hanbok gives the Spring baby a lot to fantasize about and would probably rain on my triple-denim-threat parade.

Chuck Norris approves.
