TARTAN THEORY

  | Outfit |
In all Scottish glory, I'd decided to go full-on preppy, as I make my way to FIDé Fashion Weeks. While I beg your tartan, I was ambushed by a bevy of luscious Love Bonito frocks (yes, I get the memo). Let's be square, it's all about individuality, however so, I was unprepared at the darting stares with regards to my pattern expression.

Speaking of my very first hair styling DIY, I managed to take control of my baby strands and hid them into an anterior corner. Special thanks to my boyfriend's drawer containing a wholesome range of hair wax and spray. Technically, he did my hair while I handled the A4 paper-turned-visor part. Painlessly successful, saving me salon time.

Full Ensemble from Zara except; ASOS Sunglasses, Larsson and Jennings Watch, Bee Brooch - Gifted, Earrings - Gifted, Diva Necklace, 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Mini Satchel                                                                                                                                                                         Shots by my dear Ronald W.

I think this has got to be one of my favourite looks so far. I purchased those court shoes moments before this outfit was shot after eyeing on them for the longest time. It was there then I knew my outfit was complete. The tartan style has become a hot commodity these days, transforming the fall print into several pieces whether muted or not, as observed from Zara. I see skirts, lingerie slips, jackets, and everything else on the racks, it only gets harder to even merely resist. And what genius idea to create an organza top out of the print - I must say. I remember three months back I was on the hunt for the perfect tartan suit and Topshop released a beautiful set that was a red-blue combination which didn't quite appeal to me. I'd like the combination to be more muted. I also almost impulsively gotten the full-white suit, maybe next time?

If it's anything, impulsiveness would be my strong(er) suit, the moment the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection was out, so was the madly obsessive shopper in me. I'd remember three bags(ful). My knee's closed and head's bowed to credit my haul due to the raving reviews that I stumbled upon about the material of the bags. Not too sure if it's a savvy choice, but at that time I was trying to make sense, "The Pashli can wait. eBay will only continue the price hikes if I don't get it now." I opted out the real deal for a better occasion come Christmas.

  13. Way to rock the suit AND the tartan trend in the same outfit! You look like you just escaped out of a Zara lookbook... it's the shoes and the brooch that really do it for me, you accessorized impeccably.

Pictures are also very minimalist, that's the charm of your whole person.
Btw, I will never get tired of saying how much those sunglasses amuse me... are they from a past season, or do you think I could still find them?
    Take care xxxx

    1. Jeez Carmen, thank you! You are so very sweet. Trust me, they are all products of spontaneity. And I really suggest anyone to try the "Top Lay" method -- by putting together beauty products, accessories, tops, bottoms; an entire look onto a plain canvas, sort of like playing puzzles.

I also really like listening and going through what you have to say.

These are the sunnies that became my regular quirky sunmate:

They've been around for awhile and then now I find them OOS (too soon)! But I understand that ASOS restocks their goodies occasionally!

      Thanks for the support! <3
